Due to the nature of this type of work, I don't feel that I can charge any sort of standardized fee. Upon completion, I will gratefully accept any donation offered. If the location is outside of the Kamloops area, I must ask that my traveling expenses be covered.

What is a Clearing?
Clearings typically seem very mysterious and esoteric to the western mindset. So, before I get into what a "clearing" is, I feel I should take a step back and talk about energy in general.

Our spirits (or souls if you will) are composed of energy and we are surrounded by energy all the time. This energy flows between people, animals, plants and even inanimate objects. Now this might sound a little far fetched, but please be patient. I have a number of examples that I think almost everyone can identify with to illustrate the concept. I think that almost everyone has been with people where the Laughter was contagious. Also, I am sure that most people have been around angry or hostile people where the tension in the room could be cut with a knife. In these two examples, the energy is created by people and passed back and forth from person to person, amplified each time untill the energy starts to take on a life of its own. I am also sure that most people have had the experiene of getting a creepy feeling from another person, or from a place. This can come from nasty events having taken place or even disembodies spirits that are unwilling to let go and move on. Now, energy that is associated with positive emotions is referred to as lighter energy and energy that is associated with negative emotions is referred to as heavy or dense energy.

Shamans (and other energy workers) have the ability to manipulate this energy. Personally I use Reiki to disperse this energy. One type of clearing is to move heavy energy through a person's energy field. So, the question arises, why would you want an energy worker to remove the heavy energy from your energy field (aura)? Stressful and traumatic experiences cause the heavy energy to become lodged in a person's energy field and if it is not dealt with, it will make a person unhappy and even sick. The negative long term health effects of chronic stress are widely recognized by the medical system. Clearing heavy energy in a persons energy field is a little something extra that I do when performing a reiki treatment. Another type of clearing that shamans and other energy workers are called on to do is to clear heavy energy from houses or land. Obviously creepy haunted houses don't sell well and aren't very nice to live in.
